Social Policy and Development
Natasha Dimeska is a regional social policy researcher and reform-driven expert shaping social services, child protection and gender equality systems across North Macedonia and the Western Balkans. Her work bridges research, policy development and implementation, with a strong focus on translating evidence into sustainable, community-based services.
She has authored policy papers, contributed to legal frameworks and supported the development of laws and by-laws in the field of social protection and gender equality. Her expertise includes work with victims of violence, as well as the design of activation policies for long-term unemployed individuals, linking social protection with labour market inclusion. Through senior government roles and collaboration with the World Bank, UN Women and the Council of Europe, she drives systemic change, institutional strengthening and impactful social policy reforms.
