Biljana Butlevska is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in government institutions in North Macedonia. During 2021-2024 she has been Chief of Staff to the Minister of Finance, overseeing administrative, financial, and operational tasks, as well as State Councilor for Public Finance Academy. Prior to this role she held several key positions, including State Councilor for EU Affairs at the Ministry of Interior and Assistant to the Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs, where she was instrumental in coordinating EU-related initiatives and managing relations with EU institutions. Butlevska also served in the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Economy where she handled international protocol, defense cooperation and public relations.

Her work emphasizes team collaboration, particularly in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines. She is known for her strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with a proven ability to manage complex projects and fostering effective communication across governmental and international institutions.

Her academic background includes a post-graduate degree in political science with a focus on international affairs and diplomacy. Aditionaly, she has participated in numerous professionl trainings in international protocol, business etiquette and public relations and she is part of the IVLP Alumni network.
