Dimitar Dimitrovski

Dimitar Dimitrovski is a strategic communications and public affairs professional with more than a decade of international experience advising on policy, sustainability and social impact. His work spans climate and energy, environmental governance, gender equality, media freedom and democratic governance, helping organizations translate complex policy issues into compelling narratives that influence decision-makers and engage diverse audiences.

He currently serves as Communications Officer at CEE Bankwatch Network, where he leads strategic communications on climate and energy policy, biodiversity, sustainable finance and the just transition across Central and Eastern Europe. Previously, he led communications and advocacy at UN Women North Macedonia, driving high-profile campaigns on gender equality and women's empowerment, and worked at the OSCE Mission to Skopje on media freedom, journalist safety and democratic resilience.

Throughout his career, Dimitar has designed and delivered communications strategies, advocacy campaigns and stakeholder engagement initiatives across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. He has collaborated with international organizations, governments, civil society, academia and Fortune 100 companies on projects ranging from ESG and circular economy to biodiversity, human rights and community engagement.

Recognized with the 2023 OSCE Gender Equality Champion Award, Dimitar combines strategic thinking with practical communications expertise to support policy advocacy, institutional visibility and public engagement. His academic achievements include the Chevening Scholarship (2017–2018) and the FCDO Diversity Programme Fellowship (2014), alongside scholarships from the Ministry of Education and Science of North Macedonia and FON University. He holds an MSc in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom and a BA in Foreign Languages (English and Italian) and Business from FON University, North Macedonia.
