Dr. Glenn Agung Hole is a Norwegian Associate Professor, institutional economist and geo-economic analyst working at the intersection of entrepreneurship, institutional capability, economic development and geopolitics. Before entering academia, he spent approximately 28 years in Norwegian and Nordic business, including executive and senior management positions.

He is Associate Professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) and HØFY – University College of Vocational Studies. Internationally, he is Visiting Professor at Mother Teresa University in North Macedonia, the University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi” in Albania and the University of Dar es Salaam Business School in Tanzania; Distinguished Visiting Professor at Université Chrétienne de Kinshasa (UCKIN) and Université Nationale de la Décentralisation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo; Honorary Professor at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University in Kazakhstan; and engaged in academic cooperation with University “Kadri Zeka” in Kosovo.

He is also an Invited Contributing Author to Tirana Observatory at the Albanian Institute for International Studies (AIIS) and an Advisory Board Member of IEMA – International Education Management Agency in London.

His work focuses on entrepreneurship, mentoring, innovation systems, institutional capacity, competitiveness, resilience and geo-economics. He is a frequent international keynote speaker and invited lecturer, and an active writer and commentator in Norwegian and international media, including Geopolitika.no and Revue Conflits in France.

His work connects academic research, executive experience and policy analysis across the Nordic countries, Western Balkans, Central Asia and Africa.
