We are pleased to announce that the project REUFORM: EU Reform Action has been selected for support under the Call for Proposals “Strengthening Public Engagement and Communication on the Road to EU Membership”, within the framework of the Support to European Integration of North Macedonia project, implemented by UNOPS in partnership with the Ministry for European Affairs, and supported by Sweden and Switzerland.

REUFORM, implemented by Strategers Institute in partnership with South East European University (SEEU), aims to strengthen the capacities of civil society organizations, media professionals, and youth to engage meaningfully in the EU integration process. The project seeks to enhance evidence-based policy dialogue, improve public communication on EU-related reforms, and foster informed and inclusive citizen participation. Through a structured, module-based approach, it will contribute to building analytical, advocacy, and monitoring capacities among key societal actors.

The project’s core objectives include: (i) strengthening knowledge and understanding of EU policies and accession-related reforms; (ii) enhancing the ability of stakeholders to critically address disinformation and promote information integrity; (iii) fostering cross-sectoral dialogue between civil society, media, academia, and institutions; and (iv) contributing to increased transparency, accountability, and public trust in democratic processes. By supporting these objectives, REUFORM contributes to North Macedonia’s alignment with EU standards and the advancement of participatory and inclusive governance.

The project focuses on enhancing evidence-based policy dialogue, strengthening public communication on reforms, and promoting inclusive and informed citizen participation. Through a structured, module-based approach, it will contribute to building analytical, advocacy, and monitoring capacities among key societal actors. Also, through targeted capacity-building, cross-sectoral collaboration, and policy-oriented outputs, the project contributes to increased transparency, accountability, and alignment with EU standards.
